Legal advice from Münster

Focused advice in challenging situations.

The law firm Moranz provides individual, solution‑oriented representation of your interests – both out of court and before the courts. Clear and understandable communication, prompt feedback and full transparency on opportunities, risks and costs are taken for granted. A particular focus lies on support in economic and personal crisis situations – for example in pending or ongoing insolvency proceedings, serious liability cases following traffic accidents or existential conflicts in employment and tenancy matters. In such phases, not only the legal assessment but also a structured, calm and strategic approach is key in order to remain capable of acting and to develop sustainable solutions.

Thanks to international professional experience and excellent language skills (Spanish, English), cross‑border matters can be assessed reliably and coordinated with international counterparts. Where required, the firm draws on a trusted network of specialised partners – such as tax advisers, motor vehicle experts and other professionals – to provide comprehensive, practical and situation‑specific advice from a single source.

Key practice areas

Focused advice in selected areas of law with a high degree of specialisation and practical, business‑oriented solutions.

Insolvency law

In matters of insolvency law, private individuals and businesses receive reliable guidance in financial distress. Financial situations are analysed, insolvency petitions are prepared, representation before insolvency administrators, creditors and courts is assumed, and restructuring or discharge strategies are developed in order to reduce liability risks and regain room to manoeuvre.

Traffic law / accident claims

Following traffic accidents, the firm offers a comprehensive one‑stop‑shop service: from full handling of the claim, enforcing damages and compensation for pain and suffering through to defending against unjustified claims, including all communication with insurers. An independent motor vehicle expert can be instructed to document the amount of damage, repair method and loss in value, ensuring smooth and efficient processing from a single source.

Employment law

Employment law services include the review and drafting of employment contracts, termination and settlement agreements as well as support in warning notices and dismissals. Employers and employees are advised on disputes concerning remuneration, bonuses, vacation and references, and receive representation before the labour courts to achieve legally sound and pragmatic solutions.

Contract law

In contract law, the focus is on clearly structured, legally robust agreements that prevent disputes from the outset and protect your position as far as possible. Contracts are not only reviewed and drafted, but also negotiated strategically; liability risks are identified and mitigated, and in the event of a dispute claims are enforced vigorously both out of court and in court.

In particular, work contract matters – for example construction, repair or project contracts – centre on safeguarding rights in case of defects, delays, variations and payment disputes so that projects remain manageable and economically sound. In sales law, interests are asserted in cases of defective or non‑conforming goods, ranging from rescission, reduction and repair to damages, especially in vehicle purchases, machinery, technical equipment and online transactions. In tenancy law, services include drafting and reviewing lease agreements, clarifying rent increases, service charge and defect issues as well as handling terminations and eviction proceedings to manage residential and commercial leases in a secure and practicable way.

Compliance & data protection

In compliance matters, the focus lies on designing and implementing international compliance management systems based on a risk‑oriented approach. Legal and compliance risks are identified and prioritised systematically and addressed through clear policies, efficient processes, training and controls – group‑wide, across jurisdictions and in a practical manner so that requirements are not merely “on paper” but embedded in day‑to‑day business.

In data protection, data protection management systems are built and further developed which align legal requirements (in particular the GDPR) with the realities of modern, internationally connected businesses. This includes structured records of processing activities, technical and organisational measures, DPIAs, data processing agreements and international data transfers – always risk‑based, pragmatic and solution‑oriented for management, business units and IT.

International matters

Foreign clients receive comprehensive and reliable representation in Germany across key areas of law – from contract and corporate law to employment, tenancy and traffic matters through to insolvency and liability cases. Where required, the firm cooperates with an established network of experienced tax advisers and notaries to efficiently address corporate, tax and land register aspects, particularly for clients from the Spanish‑speaking world and other international backgrounds.
